1955-D/S 5C MS66 PCGS. OMM-004. Light straw-gold toning visits lustrous and mark-free surfaces. Diagonal die polish lines through and below the P in PLURIBUS identify this particular overmintmark die variety, as documented on John Wexler's website doubleddie.com. At least 23 different D over S dies are known, since the San Francisco Mint closed in 1955, and leftover dies were sent to Denver as an economy measure.(Registry values: P1)
