Spanish Colony. Isabel II gold 4 Pesos 1868/58 MS63+ PCGS, Manila mint, KM144, Cal-864, Fr-1. 1868 is the most common date in the series, which continued to be minted until at least 1873, but the specimen on offer here is both an overdate and nearing the higher ranks of the census, making it immensely collectible as such. No examples of the 1868/58 overdate have certified higher at PCGS and only three have done so at NGC. This golden honey selection, brimming with mint brilliance, is the finest of its kind Heritage has yet handled.
