Description

Louis Philippe gold Proof Essai 10 Francs ND (1830) PR64 Cameo NGC, Paris mint, KM-Unl, Maz-1083, Gad-2759. A picturesque gold Essai from Louis Philippe I, struck to a remarkable standard, as one would expect from the famous Paris mint. Delightfully frosted motifs drift atop dark, glassy expanses, well-deserving of their Cameo superlative. A few stray wisps prevent a full Gem designation but the golden resplendence, crispiness of the rims, and overall aesthetic are supremely gratifying.

Metal: Gold
Diameter: 19mm
