1867 10C F-102, R.5, MS63 PCGS. In 1867, Seated coinage did not circulate except in the far West, replaced in commerce by unbacked fractional currency. Dime production at Philadelphia was limited to only 6,000 pieces. The present coin displays frosty devices and semireflective fields. The obverse field is clashed, but no abrasions are noticeable. Population: 13 in 63, 38 finer (4/24).
