1795 1/2 C Plain Edge, Punctuated Date, C-4, B-4, R.3, VF20 PCGS. Manley Die State 2.0. The Cohen-4 variety is identified by the comma-like raised metal between the 17 in the date, and the leaf pair below the C in AMERICA. This Very Fine example is at the upper end of what is normally available for this issue. The denomination is weak, but the devices are otherwise well-detailed over steel and golden-brown surfaces.
