"Academy of Juvenile Sciences" silver Specimen Award Medal 1824 SP62 PCGS, 48mm. Awarded to Alex. C. Maitland in 1861 (who is called "Fifth Class Duke/Leader"). Some light cabinet friction is to be noted, but hardly hampers the current offering's strong allure, its darkened charcoal outer accents taking on a leaf green color when viewed in good light.From the Collection of a Philhellene
