1924-D Buffalo Nickel, MS65
Lightly Toned and Lustrous
1924-D 5C MS65 PCGS. An attractive patina covers both sides
of this Gem, with subtle hues of gold, orange, olive-green, and red
present. Though not fully struck, the design elements reveal a
pleasing level of design detail. A few tiny flecks of carbon
appear. Only 3 examples have achieved higher numeric grades from
PCGS (3/14).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22RY, PCGS# 3952, Greysheet# 3124)
