Description

Saxony. Friedrich August II 5 Taler 1756-EC UNC Details (Cleaned) NGC, KM943, Fr-2859. A survivor from this scarce type minted during the Seven Years War (1756-1763), which culminated in the successful invasion of Prussian troops into Saxony. Despite the grade qualifier, this long-ago cleaned piece shows toned surfaces and much residual luster, especially to the shield.
