1877 Indian Cent, AU58
Partly Lustrous
1877 1C AU58 NGC. Hints of luster remain in the protected
areas of this nearly Mint State 1877 Indian cent. The obverse
displays copper-gold color with chestnut overtones, while the
reverse is more deeply colored in olive-brown, green, and rose
hues. Eye appeal is pleasing for the grade, where this key date is
seldom seen. The shallow N in ONE is a diagnostic of the business
strike issue and is not a product of the strike. This piece is
