Description

1916-S Indian Ten, MS62
Lustrous, Colorful Surfaces

1916-S $10 MS62 PCGS. The San Francisco Mint struck a modest mintage of 138,500 Indian eagles in 1916, and the denomination was not produced again until 1920. The issue is not too difficult to locate in MS62 condition, but finer coins are elusive. This attractive MS62 example displays well-detailed design elements, with a touch of the usual softness on the eagle's wing. The lustrous orange-gold surfaces show the expected number of minor contact marks for the grade.(Registry values: N1793)
