Description

1870-CC Seated Dollar, XF40
Smooth Stone-Gray Surfaces

1870-CC $1 XF40 PCGS. CAC. Variety 2-A. The 7 is centered between two dentils and the 1 is low. This rare reverse die variety shows the CC mintmark closely spaced. Problem-free, collectible representatives from this popular Carson City issue are hard to come by, especially with a CAC approval sticker. Each side is stone-gray with uniform friction over the devices. A short linear abrasion occurs above the first arrowhead, and is the only one of its kind that merits individual attention.(Registry values: N1793)
