Much Finer Than Average
1917-S 5C MS65 PCGS. From a mintage of nearly 4.2 million
coins, this Gem San Francisco nickel is far finer than the typical
1917-S representative. The date and upper reverse legend are
strong, while softness occurs on the braid, LIBERTY, bison's head,
and the denomination. Traces of golden color accent softly frosted,
well-preserved surfaces. There are 28 numerically higher grading
