1920-D Nickel, MS65
Satiny With Golden Toning
1920-D 5C MS65 PCGS. Light golden patina graces the satiny
surfaces of this Gem nickel from the Denver Mint. The portrait,
date, and LIBERTY and well-struck, as are the reverse legends.
However, the bison's head is soft as usual. A mark behind the mouth
is the only singular abrasion. PCGS reports six finer examples of
the 1920-D (7/19).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22RR, PCGS# 3945, Greysheet# 3120)
