Description

1900 Lafayette Dollar, MS65
A Highly Appealing Type Coin

1900 $1 Lafayette Dollar MS65 PCGS. DuVall 3-D. This is a scarcer Lafayette dollar variety, identified in part by recutting on the AT in STATES. Overall, this Gem is well-struck and displays soft, satiny luster. Lavender-gold toning is almost swallowed up by deeper orange-gold overtones in the central regions, while olive and mint-gold peripheral hues are left undisturbed. A couple small ticks on Washington's forehead are the only abrasions of note.(Registry values: N4719)
