Maximinus I (AD 235-238). AE sestertius (31mm, 24.27 gm, 11h). NGC Choice XF 5/5 - 4/5. Rome, ca. March AD 235-January AD 236. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Maximinus I right, seen from behind / FIDES MILITVM, Fides standing facing, head left, standard in each hand; S-C across fields. RIC IV.II 43. Pleasant chocolate patina.
