1930 Buffalo Nickel, MS67
Among the Finest Known
1930 5C MS67 NGC. The 1930 Buffalo nickel is seldom
encountered with a sharp strike. Like almost all examples seen,
this spectacular Superb Gem shows a touch of softness on the
bison's fur. Both sides display vibrant mint luster under shades of
violet and champagne-gold toning. Eye appeal is excellent. The 1930
is rare in MS67 and unknown finer. Census: 6 in 67, 0 finer
(4/16).Ex: Houston Signature (Heritage, 11/2012), lot 3919; Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2013), lot 1561.
