Description
Sharp 1793 C-3 Half Cent, AU Details
1793 1/2 C Genuine PCGS. C-3, B-3, R.3. The PCGS number ending in .97 suggests Environmental Damage as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this piece has the details of an AU specimen that has been corroded. Rich mahogany-brown surfaces show little wear, but fine corrosion affects each side, particularly on and to the left of Liberty's portrait. MRB VF25.Auction Info
