Description

Confederation gold 100 Francs 1925-B MS65+ PCGS, Bern mint, KM39, Fr-502, HMZ-2-1193a. Mintage: 5,000. The treasured Swiss "Vreneli" type struck for only a single year in this grand 100 Francs format. A classic entry of 20th Century World gold rarities, sought by collectors both in Switzerland and far beyond. Though these pieces are not particularly elusive on the auction market, the Gem designation awarded to this example makes it a bit more special. This coin has an undeniably appealing "look", sure to have been a factor in PCGS awarding this example with a "plus" designation.
