Very Scarce Die Pair, Choice VF
1795/1795 50C VF35 NGC. O-112, R.4. This very scarce die
pair showcases one of the worst date-punching blunders in U.S. Mint
history; merely calling the spread south "wide" is underselling how
dramatic it is. This richly toned Choice VF example shows a range
of shadings, from gold to green and gray. A strong die crack
