1884 Morgan, MS65 Deep Mirror Prooflike
Clean and Fully Brilliant
1884 $1 MS65 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. Liberty's cheek is
smooth and the portrait frosted on this spectacular Gem silver
dollar. The eagle, too, features a thick overlay of mint frost,
generating bold, eye-catching contrast against the watery fields.
Such qualities are seldom found among 1884 Morgan dollars, as PCGS
reports only nine finer in Deep Mirror Prooflike (8/25). Strongly
struck over the centers, if a touch soft at the lower obverse.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2017), lot 5045.(Registry values: P2, N1793)
