Description
1793 C-1 Half Cent, VF Details
Affordable Example of America's First Half Cent
1793 1/2 C C-1, B-1, High R.3 -- Corrosion -- PCGS Genuine.
VF Details. Steel-blue dominates the obverse, where the
reverse is awash in sky-blue, mustard, and lime-green. Heavy
corrosion is present throughout all of both sides, but the design
elements are mostly still visible and the coin is still
attributable as C-1, with multiple pickup points present. This
offering presents an opportunity for an affordable example of this
one-year type, which is doubly important as America's first half
cent.
