1870 P50C Standard Silver Half Dollar, Judd-964, Pollock-1060, Low R.7 PR63 Cameo PCGS. Liberty faces right on the obverse, wearing a cap with two stars, her hair adorned with a ribbon inscribed LIBERTY in raised letters. A ribbon below carries the motto IN GOD WE TRUST with the statutory legend around. The reverse has a wreath of olive and laurel that encloses the denomination, 50 CENTS, with STANDARD SILVER around and the date below. Struck in silver with a plain edge. This splendid Cameo proof displays brilliant silver surfaces accented with vibrant hues of ice-blue, lavender and caramel circling the periphery. Deeply mirrored fields create stark cameo contrast with the satiny and sharply detailed devices.
