1793 C-3 Half Cent, XF Details
Affordable Coin From An Inaugural Issue
1793 1/2 C C-3, B-3, R.3 -- Corrosion -- NGC Details. XF.
Green-steel dominates the patina of this half cent, with some hints
of red-steel present as well. Moderate porosity blankets the
surface, but details remain universally discernable. The present
C-3 die marriage was struck on July 24, 1793, and delivered two
days later, according to research by half cent expert Bill
