Stunning Eye Appeal

1839 10C No Drapery MS66 PCGS. CAC. Fortin-106c, R.3. Obverse diagnostics include a die crack from the rim down through Liberty's head and neck and another through stars 11 to 13. The reverse, rotated left 18 degrees, shows die cracks from the rim to S1 and E in STATES and over AMERICA. All of the design details are boldly rendered with complete head details and sharp leaf definition. Frosty luster is masked beneath rich golden-brown, rose, and sea-green toning. Population: 10 in 66, 9 finer (7/14).
