Cameo Gem Proof 1892 Cent
1892 1C PR65 Cameo PCGS. While a relatively common date as a proof, few Cameo pieces have been certified. In fact, only four such coins have been graded by PCGS as Gem with just five finer (7/12). None have been certified as Deep Cameo. The present crisply struck honey-gold specimen shows deeply mirrored fields with clearly contrasted devices. Seamless save for one slender contact mark on the cheekbone and minor peripheral obverse carbon.Ex: West Palm Beach FUN (Heritage, 7/2007), lot 134.(Registry values: P1)
