Description

1807 50C Capped Bust, Bearded Goddess, O-111b, R.5, Fine 15 PCGS. The crack from the chin to the upper part of the bust is clearly visible at both ends where lumps have formed, but less prominent at the center where the break is visible but muted by wear. This lovely example displays natural grayish surfaces with wisps of faint bluish toning -- an excellent collector coin and a "demand rarity" in the series, always on the want lists of Bust half collectors. Several shallow abrasions are noted near the date.
