AU53 PCGS. Bowers Die State II. An early die state, with cloud
3 lapped but no lapping visible at Liberty's lower hair curls.
Pleasing silver luster remains at the margins and shines through
intermittently throughout the central devices of this sharply
struck and lightly circulated Large Eagle dollar. The BB-105
variety is readily available in lesser grades, but it becomes
scarce at the AU level. Attractive lilac-gray toning confirms the
well-preserved, original surfaces showing only a few minor marks,
