Description
1907 Twenty Dollar, MS66+ CAC
Exceptional Saint-Gaudens Type Coin
1907 $20 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Gold, orange, and lilac tinges
alternate in prevalence and intensity throughout the surfaces of
this splendid Premium Gem, but the radiant mint luster is
consistent throughout, as is the bold strike and absence of notable
marks. This exceptional example has outstanding eye appeal and
would make a great type coin for the iconic Saint-Gaudens twenty
dollar gold, No Motto Reverse. The first wide-distribution issues
of the Saint-Gaudens series, the Charles Barber low-relief
reinterpretation had a mintage of 361,667 coins. Granted a
well-deserved CAC endorsement. Population: 44 in 66+, 20 finer
(6/25).Ex: Long Beach Signature (2/2013), lot 4013.(Registry values: N2998)
