People's Republic silver Proof "National Palace Museum 60th Anniversary" Medal 1985 PR68 Deep Cameo PCGS, 33mm. Mintage: 200. A truly scarce mint medal commemorating the 60th anniversary of the National Palace Museum, one of the largest museums devoted to 8,000 years of Chinese history and art, spanning from the Neolithic age to the modern era. Decorated in a wonderful argent surface imbued with a highly mirrored finish and only the trivial mark to bound the grade, the piece at hand remains rare in any grade, as only the fifth example to come to market in recent memory.
