Description
Choice 1908 Indian Five
1908 $5 MS64 PCGS. A splendid first-year example of this novel recessed relief design. The orange-red surfaces shimmer with luster, and the strike is exacting, even with the intricacies of the headdress. Well preserved despite an unimportant reed mark beneath OF, and an excellent candidate for a quality gold type set.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DE, PCGS# 8510, Greysheet# 9308)
Weight: 8.36 grams
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
