Judd-168 1855 Flying Eagle Cent PR63 Red and Brown

1855 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-168 Original, Pollock-193, R.4, PR63 Red and Brown PCGS. Thirteen stars surround an eagle that is flying slightly upwards, similar to that seen on the Gobrecht dollar reverse. The reverse is based upon the then-current large cent, but the wreath is diminished in scale. Orange-gold is prevalent although deep blue-green fills the wreath interior. Struck in bronze with a plain edge.
