Sombrerete. Ferdinand VII "Royalist" 8 Reales (1811-1812) AU50 NGC, KM177. Royalist coinage of General Fernando Vargas. A high-grade representative of this popular, crude issue; exhibiting the majority of detail fully discernible, including much of "VARGAS" despite prominent central flatness around the date, the shield nearly complete with "SOMBRERETE" fully defined. Imbued with a light, dove patina enhancing an already advanced representative that will surely interest collectors of this series.Metal: Silver
