Singular MS68 1877 Dime, Finest Certified
1877 10C MS68 NGC. The lone finest 1877 dime Heritage has ever offered, unsurprising since this is the only MS68 survivor certified by either NGC or PCGS (5/09). This coin has wondrous eye appeal with silver-white surfaces that show occasional hints of sky-blue and gold. The luster of the fields is strong and shining, while the well-defined devices offer a softly frosted counterpoint. Its preservation is exemplary, as may be expected for the MS68 designation, with only a couple of minuscule reverse marks visible to the unaided eye. Struck from clashed dies, most evident on the left side of Liberty and within the wreath.(Registry values: N1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23AL, PCGS# 4682, Greysheet# 4073)
Weight: 2.49 grams
