Colorfully Toned, Choice Surfaces
1918-D 10C MS64 Full Bands NGC. The 1918-D is scarce with
Full Bands regardless of the grade, and the strike on this near-Gem
example is indeed sharp throughout both sides. The intense,
multicolor toning may divert some of the attention to its
underlying surface quality, but the Choice surfaces are undeniable
beneath variegated shades of blue, bronze, red, and forest-green.
