1893-S $1 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. Fine Details. The
1893-S Morgan dollar is always in demand, as most of the small
mintage of 100,000 pieces were released into circulation near the
time of issue or were melted under the 1918 Pittman Act. This
Morgan reveals expected circulation marks for a Fine grade, but
bright and brilliant high points reveal signs of cleaning. With
high-grade examples being scarce, this lower-end piece represents a
more budget-friendly alternative.
