Gem 1863 Seated Liberty Dime
Low-Mintage Civil War Date

1863 10C MS65 PCGS Secure. Only 14,460 Seated Liberty dimes were minted in 1863, probably because silver coins were being hoarded at the height of the Civil War era. The present coin is a magnificent Gem, with reflective, prooflike fields. All devices are strongly impressed, except for a little softness on the bow knot. Population: 7 in 65, 2 finer (8/10).
