1896-O Morgan Dollar, MS63
Challenging Issue in High Grade
1896-O $1 MS63 NGC. An issue known for weak strikes, insipid
luster, and excessive bagmarks, the 1896-O Morgan dollar is
probably the most challenging date of the series in high grade.
This well-struck Select example is a high-end representative for
the date, with satiny mint luster and only a few minor contact
marks on both sides. The surfaces display light golden-tan patina.
NGC has graded only 14 coins in higher numeric grades
