Description

Luminous, Low Mintage 1908-S Ten MS63

1908-S $10 MS63 NGC. The '08-S has a mintage of just 59,850 pieces, and since San Francisco gold coins circulated to some extent in 1908, the majority of survivors are in XF and AU grades. Pleasing Select examples are both elusive and desirable. This lustrous and alertly struck Indian ten is remarkably smooth except for a faded, thin mark on the field near the chin.(Registry values: N2998)
