S-11b, Lettered Edge
1793 1C Wreath, Lettered Edge, S-11b, B-16b, R.4 -- Damage --
PCGS Genuine. XF Details. Noyes Die State C/A. A golden-brown
and gunmetal-gray example with hints of luster in design recesses.
Both sides display several moderate marks; the most consequential
near her eye and across her upper curls. S-11b is a scarcer edge
variant than S-11c, but two leaves are present after DOLLAR,
visible on the edge near 11 o'clock. Our EAC grade VG10.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 223J, Variety PCGS# 35474, Base PCGS# 1350, Greysheet# 76729)
