1800 H10C -- Obverse Repaired -- NGC Details. Unc. V-1, LM-1,
R.3. Upon first glance, the present Heraldic Eagle half dime
appears to be a magnificent example, since it has semi-prooflike
fields, exquisite design detail, and lovely orange and rose-red
toning. Close inspection reveals a smoothed and re-engraved area on
the obverse that affects stars 9 through 12 and the nearby dentils.
