Description
Desirable, Key-Date 1916 Select Full Head Quarter
1916 25C MS63 Full Head PCGS. Whispers of light tan and ice-blue coloration on this Select key-date quarter show up under magnification. Both sides yield intense luster, and each displays somewhat above-average definition on the design features. This includes not only Liberty's "Full Head," but nearly complete detail on the inner shield's horizontal lines, the outer shield's rivets, Liberty's gown lines and toes, and the eagle's plumage. Some minute contact marks concealed within Liberty's flowing gown limit the grade. Nevertheless, this is a highly attractive, desirable piece.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242Y, PCGS# 5705, Greysheet# 5534)
