Interesting MS64 Full Head
1916 Standing Liberty Quarter

1916 25C MS64 Full Head PCGS. Though not the lowest-mintage regular-issue quarter of the 20th century (the 40,000-piece-strong 1913-S Barber quarter takes that honor), the 1916 Standing Liberty has attracted plenty of attention since its incognito debut with its more prevalent 1917 Type One sisters. This piece offers solid detail for the issue, particularly on the head and shield. Luster is impressive, with generally silver-white centers and only occasional splashes of gold and orange that visit the rims. Housed in a green label holder. PCGS has graded 83 finer Full Head examples (11/08).(Registry values: N4719)
