1844 Quarter, Sharp MS64+
Conditionally Rare
1844 25C MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Briggs 1-A. Although the 1844 is
among the more plentiful pre-Arrows and Rays Seated quarter issues
in high grade, it is still rare in Choice or finer condition. This
Plus-designated piece displays a razor-sharp strike and satiny
luster. Both sides have a dusting of lavender-blue and champagne
color, with the obverse showing additional, mottled olive patina.
Eye appeal is quite pleasing. Population: 9 in 64 (2 in 64+), 2
