1896 Quarter, Stunning PR68 Cameo
1896 25C PR68 Cameo NGC. Frosty, boldly struck motifs appear to float over the mirrored, watery fields, yielding stunning cameo contrast. Immaculate preservation further contributes to the coin's outstanding eye appeal. While 1896 proof quarters are fairly common (NGC and PCGS combined report 617 examples in all three finishes, from a mintage of 762 pieces) relatively few can match the technical quality and aesthetic appeal of the present PR68 Cameo offering.
