Description

1920-S Quarter, Near-Full Head MS66
Few Available This Fine

1920-S 25C MS66 PCGS. The 1920-S quarter does not need a Full Head designation to be rare in MS66, and finer coins are exceedingly so. This brilliant, satiny Premium Gem displays unmarked surfaces and nearly Full Head detail. The shield rivets are slightly soft, as is typical for this San Francisco issue. A dash of light golden toning appears along the lower reverse border. Population: 15 in 66 (1 in 66+), 5 finer (5/16).(Registry values: N4719)
