1855-O Arrows Half Dollar Type Coin
Gem Uncirculated
1855-O 50C Arrows, WB-101, Die Pair 11, R.3, MS65 PCGS. As a
date, the 1855-O Seated half dollar is fairly plentiful, but Gem
examples are conditionally elusive and anything finer is rare. This
MS65 type coin displays razor-sharp design elements and vibrant,
satiny mint luster. Only a few faint field grazes, seen with a
loupe, prevent an even finer grade. This piece shows a dusting of
olive-gold toning that adds to the appeal. Population: 23 in 65 (1
in 65+), 8 finer (5/16).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 572090, Base PCGS# 6283)
