1890 Seated Half, MS66
Splendid Strike and Toning
1890 50C WB-101 MS66 PCGS. The fields display prooflike
tendencies beneath splendid aquamarine and peach-gold shades on the
obverse. Lavender and lemon-gold toning joins the palette on the
reverse. Just 12,000 pieces were struck during the penultimate year
of the Seated half series. This sharply struck Premium Gem ranks
near the top in both surface quality and eye appeal. Population: 10
in 66 (2 in 66+), 6 finer (5/16).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 572275, Base PCGS# 6372)
