High-End for the Issue
1890 50C PR67 PCGS. CAC. A conditionally rare example of
this late-series proof, tied for the finest non-Cameo at PCGS. The
strike is sharply rendered over gleaming mirrors in the fields, and
the preservation is exceptional. Creamy-gold interiors cede to
sea-green, rose, and yellow-gold peripheral hues. Eye appeal is
outstanding, and modest cameo contrast appears on the reverse.
