Rare in Mint State and Proof

1872 1C PR65 Red PCGS. Bold N in ONE. Specialists will recognize the scarcity of this date in both Mint State and proof grades, especially retaining full orange mint color. The headdress, hair details, and diamonds on the obverse, and all of the wreath and shield details on the reverse, are boldly rendered. The surfaces are lightly mirrored with slightly subdued proof luster. An exceptional example for the advanced Indian cent specialist. Population: 15 in 65 Red, 7 finer (3/24).
