Scarcer Early Carson City Date
1880-CC $1 MS66 Prooflike NGC. Uncommonly clean for a
reflective example of this issue, with a suggestion of golden
toning about the stars and lettering. The central devices are
sharply struck and have a characteristic chalky appearance. By far
the scarcest of the 1880-1885 Carson City issues in comparable
condition. Census: 19 in 66 Prooflike, 1 finer (1/11).(Registry values: P4, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2542, PCGS# 7101, Greysheet# 7473)
